Miss Clarke is a person of very pleasant appearance, with a quiet manner and voice, capable,
straightforward and clear in expressing herself.
She was educated at Cheltenham Ladies' College
and has had excellent experience in English Schools under
good Headmistresses besides five years in Monte Video
which should be of considerable use to her in the present
post. The width and character of her experience seemed
to the Committee completely to outweigh the lack of a
Secondary Teaching Diploma. She should fill a post of
this kind excellently.
